Diwali Story
Diwali, the festival of lights, is a time of joy, togetherness, and the triumph of good over evil. It’s a story that has been passed down through generations. Once upon a time, there was a prince named Rama, who was sent into exile with his wife, Sita, and his brother, Lakshmana. After years of wandering in the forest, Sita was kidnapped by the demon king, Ravana. Brave Rama, with the help of his devoted brother and an army of monkeys, set out to rescue her. After a fierce battle, Rama defeated Ravana, freeing Sita and returning home.

As Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana made their way back to their kingdom, the people lit rows of oil lamps to guide their way. Their return marked the end of darkness and the victory of good over evil, light over darkness. Every year, on this day, families gather to light candles, share sweets, and celebrate love, hope, and the bond of family. Diwali isn't just about the lights; it’s about coming together, sharing stories, and creating memories that keep us connected to our roots, no matter where we are in the world. It’s a time when hearts feel close, even if miles apart.
